Recycled plastic / Oiled MDF
Our very own interpretation of the ancient game of chess! With soft tactile forms, it balances a moderate level of detail with well rounded proportions.
The pieces are naive interpretations of their origin, so people of all ages may connect intuitively with the character they represent on the board.
The MDF board has a natural, toned-down presence, with muted contrast to make the pieces stand out.
The pieces are all made from specific ratios of different waste plastics, including snus boxes, DVD covers and frying oil cannisters. All gathered, injection moulded and finished by hand in Trondheim.
